When I met Azaide at an Art fair in Dubai in 2017, I instantly knew that our visual identities would click.
She was doing digital paintings with arabianised photographic portraits of legends such as Bob Marley, Nelson Mandela and John Lennon.
Meanwhile, I had been looking for a way to make a commercial, yet bespoke version of my collage photo paintings and working with a digital artist seemed to be the perfect answer.
We quickly decided to collaborate and 'Kids Of Arabia' was born in April 2017,
in this project, I am the photographer and Azaide the digital painter.
Our idea is pretty simple:
The costumer books a photoshoot with me (for individual shots or a family pic), after choosing their favourite photograph,
they then choose a digital painting from our selection to be used for the background,
we work our magic and deliver a beautifully printed canvas.
